Getting Started with MacroPoint
When you accept a load from Diel-Jerue your carrier manager will ask for your cell phone number. MacroPoint will send a text to that phone number with installation instructions before you pick up the load.
Once installed, there is nothing more to do. All required load updates are automatically captured, which allows you to focus solely on safe driving. For added safety and convenience, MacroPoint will automatically track future loads moved with Diel-Jerue.

How does MacroPoint benefit a driver/carrier?
- MacroPoint automatically handles all required load updates, which can replace phone calls and emails from Diel-Jerue. This means a driver does not need to be on the phone while driving or during resting hours.

Do I need a smart phone with a data plan to use MacroPoint?
No. MacroPoint works on a cellular device without any data access. Some cellular carriers (e,g Cricket) are unable to track via cellular signals. Phones using those cell carriers may need to install the MacroPoint app available on iTunes or Google Play.
When am I tracked by MacroPoint?
You are tracked during Diel-Jerue loads only. Tracking begins shortly before scheduled pickup and terminates when the load has been delivered.
Will MacroPoint affect my battery life?
No, MacroPoint will not affect battery life. MacroPoint pings the phone for updates on a predefined frequency, rather than continuously tracking the phone.
What does it cost me to use MacroPoint?
There is no cost to a driver/carrier to utilize MacroPoint.
Who has visibility to my phone’s location?
During Diel-Jerue loads only, required stop and in-transit updates are fed into our Transportation Management System for your carrier manager to view.
Do I need to opt in for MacroPoint tracking every time I move a load with Diel-Jerue?
No, once you opt in for tracking with Diel-Jerue, you are automatically set up for future loads.
How do I opt out of MacroPoint if I no longer wish to use it?
- Call 855-755-4400 and follow the prompts to stop tracking. Or,
- Opt out via text by responding “STOP” to any original tracking text message received.
